Paddle from the Pines to Ballardvale May 2019 (7)

     It finally felt like spring as Bob, Laurie, Kevin, and Alice paddled on the Shawsheen while Sharon led the portage. We enjoyed seeing a young Eagle, Blue Heron, Geese and many Turtles.

A small but extremely hardy crew, Maria, Laurie, and Kyle braved the elements to for a clean-up of the Shawsheen River beginning a Whipple Road in Tewksbury and heading towards Andover on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

The “Eyes on Owls” program held at the Billerica Public Library on Thursday, April 25, 2019 was highly educational and entertaining.Naturalist Marcia Wilson and photographer Mark Wilson in sharing their passion for owls as well as the owls themselves with an audience of close to 50 people.
