Details DUE TO HEAT FORECASTS FOR THE WEEKEND, we are postponing the Plein Air art event to July 27, 2019 – same time, same place! Hope you can make it! Join us for a day of Plein Air art on Saturday, July 27, 2019, 10:00-1:00, Vale Reservation, Andover.
This event is open to artists and artists at heart! If you do not want to paint, draw, photograph, write, or play an instrument, bring a book and enjoy the river! The Vale Reservation is a beautiful site with woods, wetlands, meadows, and the Shawsheen River. Bring water, a snack, a blanket or folding chair. We will have a wheeled bag and a cart to carry supplies to an upland area overlooking the river amidst pines, oaks, and maples – just about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. An added bonus – you can also “walk the gallery of trees” to see the artwork of Sharon Lapham and Sue Millman. Meet at 10:00 at the Ballardvale commuter parking lot (195 Andover St, Andover, MA 01810) at the end of the lot – you will see the sign for The Greenway Vale Reservation. Paddlers: if you wish to paddle instead, contact Laurie and I will direct you to the Dale Street put-in.
