The map shows the mile markers for the put-in sites in blue and the hiking access points in green. It starts at the source in Bedford to its confluence in Lawrence where it joins the Merrimack River.
When you hover over the mile markers a pop up shows the name of the site. When you click on the mile marker it gives some basic information.
From the pop up, on the bottom, you can click on:
More info: to extend the pop up with a bit more information.
Zoom Here: Zooms in on that site on the map. Double clicking on the map also zooms in the area you want to see closer.
Get Direction: This gives driving directions from where you are to the site you selected. It shows the mileage and directions on the side of the map and it outlines the route on the map. Not all sites are drive to sites. There are some river access only points that do not have the direction feature. The Location option must be turned ON on the device you are using to use the Direction option.
View in Site List: This will bring you to a lot of all the sites and the Full Information and Links for each site. It starts at the site you clicked on, but you can scroll through al the sites. That. is where you find all Photos, information as well as links with additional Trail Maps of info pertaining to the site.
