Led by Marlies, 7 enthusiastic paddlers braved the gray skies and paddled the Shawsheen River from Grace Drive in Wilmington to Ballardvale in Andover. Thanks to the many volunteers who removed parts of fallen trees from blocking the river over the past few years, this was the first time kayaks and canoes to continue the distance without needing to portage. It was a wonderful adventure enhanced by the colorful fall foliage
