The SRWA needs your help to clean and clear the Shawsheen River in Bedford on September 30th. Bedford is home to the headwaters of the river, so maintaining cleanliness is important for the whole watershed. We will have 2 seperate work stations to launch kayaks and canoes from. The first being the Sun Valley Sub Shop on Summer St, the second being the Stop and Shop in Bedford Center. Chainsaws will be needed to clear any fallen trees that are blocking passage. Please be sure to bring your own equipment (life vest, kayak, paddles, necessary tools, etc). The start time is 9:30 AM and we look forward to working with you to help keep the Shawsheen clean.
