7/1 Mid-week paddle – Put in at Shawsheen Pines Reservation.
We will meet at 10:00 at the Shawsheen Pines Reservation. This Reservation is located on Lowell Junction Road, Andover across from Pfizer. For GPS, use Pfizer’s address: 1 Burtt Road. We will paddle from Shawsheen Pines to Ballardvale. All are welcome! We plan to paddle upstream towards Tewksbury and later enjoy the current as we paddle downstream returning to the Andover put in. Depending on the interests of the group, we will paddle for 3 or 4 hours.
Enjoy beautiful views along the river. Bring your own canoe or kayak, pfd, water and sandwich. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Shawsheen River Watershed Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization with a mission to protect, restore, and enjoy the Shawsheen River and its watershed.
