Justin Damon accepted the $1000 award grant given to SRWA from George Lima of EMD Serono at the Billerica Town meeting on 4/18. The award will be used to post signs along the Shawsheen River in Billerica to build awareness of the river and the importance of keeping it clean.
Obstacles observed from trail on Vale Reservation on 5/11/18
These Shawsheen River obstructions were observed while hiking in the Vale Reservation on 5/11/18 between Ballardvale and the Wingate at Andover. Many geese were enjoying the river.
