The afternoon was good. Interestingly the water level trying to go through the aqueduct was very low making it impossible to paddle against the current. Paddle continued hitting the bottom. A steep putin off of Dale street in Ballardvale, paddle about 5 minutes upstream and a short portage to Pomps Pond in Andover. Enjoy a multitude of turtles.

Beautiful paddling day! Laurie, Alice, and Barbara put in at Knights of Columbus, Tewksbury and paddled upstream through the inundated marsh aiming for the Whipple launch.
