Just a reminder that the SRWA is going up before the Board of Selectman in Billerica on 12/3 to present two kiosks to the town (which they will hopefully accept!) to be installed at the Buckingham and Akeson put-ins. Matthew Dugan from Troop 49, Tewksbury, built the kiosks at our request. The meeting begins at 7:00.

This is a very important step forward raising awareness of existing access points for paddling the Shawsheen River, and your attendance will carry a long way. As all Billerica Master Plan and Open Space & Recreation Plans will evidence, river access has been a priority for Billerica residents for decades. However, the best motivator of all is still a room full of joyful fans.
